Brendan's second loose tooth has been loose for quite some time. Some of us thought it would be very cool if Santa and the Tooth Fairy visited on the same night. It wasn't meant to be. Brendan's tooth held out for a new year before falling out when he went to bed on Friday night. Brendan was ecstatic and came running out of his room at full speed.
We could barely contain him in the bathroom long enough to hold a washcloth on his gums. "I have to get to bed before the Tooth Fairy comes!" he explained. He made it in plenty of time and the Tooth Fairy generously left him $2 for such a fine tooth.

Um, you mean which cop show he's watching tonight? That would be more appropriate.
$2 is over-the-top. I know. It'll stay $2 for quite some time. Unfortunately, his 8-year-old neighbor told him how she got like $10 for a tooth. Way to ruin it!
