For Christmas, we gave each set of grandparents a webcam so that they can talk and see the grandkids when they chat on the phone. Anyone who has ever attempted a phone conversation with a toddler understands why this is helpful. Often, the toddler thinks the other person can see what he sees. Therefore, much of the conversation is only understood if you're there with him.
Of course, we didn't have a webcam, so we purchased one as well. Today, Kelsey and I test-drove it. The results:
The quality is much better when not uploaded onto blogger. Otherwise, I think the kids will love seeing their grandparents on TV.
