Kelsey had her two-month checkup today. She's healthy and happy! Really, she didn't cry at all during the appointment until the nurses gave her immunizations. And who wouldn't cry then?
She weighed in at 14.1 pounds and 24 inches. Not that it's a contest, but she's still outweighing her brothers at the same age. Brendan was 12.11 pounds and Ryan 13 pounds at 2 months. Oh my! She's in the 99th percentile for weight and 98th for height.
Kelsey has also made great improvement in her sleeping. A week ago, I decided she needed to be swaddled more tightly at night. She had suddenly started waking between 12 and 1 a.m., which was still a four-hour stretch but she had been doing better. I noticed that she was getting her arms or legs free each night, so I pulled out the duct tape (for her blanket, of course). Now she's sleeping six hours, which means Ken and I are sleeping 6 hours uninterrupted. Oh, wait, that's only if Ryan doesn't cry or Brendan doesn't come in after a bad dream. Hey, it IS getting better!
