Last Thursday, Kelsey flashed her first smile! Ken had taken the boys to Panera to get bagels for breakfast before heading into work. She and I were playing in my room when she smiled at me. The first smile is definitely one of the best moments between a parent and newborn. It's a sign that she's beginning to take interest in her world and that she recognizes mom/dad.
I don't have photos, but will try to capture one in the next few days. In the meantime, here are photos of Kelsey at six weeks, in a beautiful dress that my dear friend Sunshine sent to us.
